We’re also proud to offer window and door replacements for commercial customers in Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan. In fact, we specialize in retrofit commercial window and door replacements. We’ve done work on public housing, schools, universities, correctional facilities, and office buildings. We’ve also been enlisted to work on special historical projects!
Do you use subcontractors?
Lueck’s Home Improvements believes in offering a personalized experience. That's why we hire and train our own employees to install the product lines that we offer.
Nearly all of our product offerings are installed by the carpenters and service technicians that we directly hire. In fact, many of the employees on our great team have worked for Lueck’s for more than 20 years.
Gutters are the only product that we offer through a subcontractor. With that in mind, our sales team works directly with the subcontracted gutter service to ensure all customers have a positive experience.
What can I expect during the ordering process?
Here at Lueck’s we offer a free estimate by scheduling an initial appointment during a time that works best for you. One of our two sales representatives will then come out to your property to review the project.
Lueck’s uses a no-pressure sales approach to offer ideas, products, and solutions we believe will best suit your project. However, you always have the final say in your final project selections.
After the appointment, you will get a project quote. You can explore the quote on your own time. If you choose to move forward, we request a down payment of 35% to place the order.
Since the construction trade has been impacted by supply chain delays, we immediately place orders right after the down payment is received. Sales representatives will inform you of the anticipated lead times based on your specific purchase. Once a product arrives in our warehouse, we typically have your install scheduled within two weeks.
What are typical lead times
Some products have lead times of about 4-6 weeks; with certain specialty products having lead times out to a few months. We always encourage customers to keep this in mind when placing an order, and we will always be transparent with expected lead times for your particular products at the outset of your project.
Wisconsin weather can be cold and unpredictable, so note that seasonality and weather conditions can also impact installation timeframes.

Is there a minimum purchase requirement?
Many of our customers have worked slowly over the years to upgrade their homes in phases and stages. We understand that for many homeowners, it is not realistic to tackle large projects all at once. For this reason, Lueck’s does not have a minimum purchase requirement.
Whether you are looking to cover just one window, add a new storm door, replace a piece of weatherstripping, or fully remodel your home’s exterior, we are happy to team up together to bring your vision to life.

Are you certified to work with lead and asbestos?
Lueck’s is licensed to complete projects containing lead and asbestos for residential and commercial contracts. We are certified to work with these materials for any exterior replacement project where we are directly installing replacement products through Lueck’s.
Currently, we do not offer services to strictly remove lead or asbestos.
Can you help with design and material selection? What kind of options do you offer?
Our sales team has representatives that have been in various positions within the home improvement industry. They bring a wealth of knowledge with their combined total of 64 years of experience in the trade. With this vast knowledge, we are happy to offer our insights on design and color selections that best complement a home’s profile.
In addition to this knowledge, we also have experience in woodgrains, trim, and stain selections. Our sales representatives take time with each customer to showcase various designs and share the specifications of different materials to help offer the right glass options, packages, add-ons, and decorative features for each project.
Some product manufacturers, such as Therma Tru, offer additional design tools, such as apps like DoorWays, that allow you to upload pictures of your home to customize a product to fit your space. We love seeing our customers' design ideas come to life.
